We
have always known travel for leisure, business and holidays. People have
different reasons for travel. However, little is recognized of the few individuals
who spare their time and resources to touch a soul in a new whole world to them.
My initial thinking of travel as for holiday and merry making was cut short
when I came across a group of travelers from
Canada who come to Kenya for at least twice per year to visit a children home
in Embu. Their main reason for travel to the children orphanage is to have a good time playing,
participating and engaging with the children in their daily lives.

Love Children Home is a charitable children home based in Embu, Kenya committed
to empowering orphaned and abandoned children living with HIV by providing them
with basic needs, skills, resources, knowledge and skills they need to develop
into their full potential. The immense contribution and support by Leah and the
group is second to none. Such reason for travel is to be treasured. It takes a
kind heart to touch a soul of a young promising child.
