Bomas of Kenya- One stop village for diverse African cultures

Bomas of Kenya is an ideal place displaying the diverse cultures in the beautiful nation of Kenya. Bomas is a Swahili word for a ‘village’. It is about 10 km from Nairobi. It is a home to several traditional homesteads and various live performances of traditional dances and songs. The African tradition allowed polygamous and as such the wives had separate huts around the compound. You can also have a guided tour to the traditional homesteads.
